Sofstream water filters remove most water-borne pollutants

The Sofstream filter will remove chlorine and chlorine-related substances from your drinking water. It will also neutralise any odours and will remove sand, rust, and any particles that discolour the water.

The filter kit is 300 mm tall and will fit easily under your sink. It is supplied with a separate drinking water tap and a special clamp that attaches the water inlet pipe easily to the copper pipe from the rising main. The outlet pipe goes directly to the tap which is mounted in the work surface adjacent to the sink. Installation can be undertaken by a reasonably competent handyman with a basic toolkit. Or we can install it for you.

Cartridge replacement is simple. You merely unscrew the old cartridge by hand and screw in the new one. No tools are required and you do not have to turn off the water supply.

Cartridges should be replaced every six months and arrangements can be made with the manufacturer to post a new cartridge to the customer at the appropriate time. Payment is taken by direct debit and you do not need to make any other arrangements, or even keep a check on the replacement date. Just screw in the new cartridge when it arrives.
 

The filter head and mechanism is maintenance-free and comes with a 10-year guarantee.
